About us

Padel Playa / North London

A club worth
coming back to.

The Spanish connection

Playa means beach.
The rest follows from that.

The heart of padel is found in Spain, where it became more than a sport. It became part of the culture, played socially, competitively and always in good company.

That spirit runs through Padel Playa. From the courts we play on to the club we’re building around them, everything comes back to a simple idea: good games, good company and a place to belong.

The founders

One runs the club. One builds it. Both play.

Padel Playa is led by Andrew and George Criticos.

“Playa means beach. Spain is the heart of padel, where the game found its identity. Padel Playa celebrates that heritage, respecting the roots of the sport while creating a club of our own.”
